One of the many things you told me that you enjoyed most with this blog, and something that many of you seem to want even more of, was more photos. It's not often that I post images taken with other people's cameras, but it could sometimes be a great idea perhaps so you can see how our life looks like through the eyes of others? This is a snapshot from the end of my birthday evening, with one of the lovely ladies we got to know over a few beers and crispy mojitos. Great night yes sir.

Speaking of cameras, can you please do a post on what one(s) you use and why?
Thanks

Deb, the camera I use is called Canon 5D mark II. It takes both photos and videos. It really is a great piece of equipment. For underwater i use the GoPro hero2.
If you'd like to get yourself a new camera but don't want to spend too much money, I would recommend the Canon eos rebel, or an Canon digital Ixus, the latest one. I've used the two of them before and both are real good.
It's nice to see a more realistic photo like this. Yours are absolutely beautiful, but make it seem like it's not real sometimes haha.
Err,,, I prefer the photos you and Alex take!
Your professionally composed photos are amazing, but there is something special and spontaneous about a candid shot. It brings out the real-life aspect of the scene.
Happy Birthday by the way.
Great shot!
