Went for some tapas and pizza tonight and got pleasantly surprised by an unexpected jazz performance. And it was not your everyday wannabe jazz artist either but a young Grenadian woman called Jenny J with an effortlessly sensual and deep voice. Even Alex - who's worked with many jazz musicians along the years as a mastering engineer and normally is extremely picky when it comes to live performers - said she had one of the stronger voices he've heard as of late. No good recordings available online as she has no producer yet, so this is one of the only old things I found, though none of the Youtube versions really does her voice any justice. Some of what she performed tonight was a magnificent version of Valerie.
