Comfort food for rainy days

A hot vegetarian pasta meal full of pepper in all shapes and colors. It's btw been raining here in Grenada about 50% of the time since we got here two weeks ago. Is that because we're now closer to the equator or has it been raining all over the Caribbean these past few weeks?

When you are close to the equator the wet and dry seasons become less defined. It can rain anytime.

YUM! My dad would love this dish -- he is a huge fan of any simple pasta dish. I made him this lemon herb pasta that he went nuts for -- I'm sure he'll go nuts for this one as well. Here is a link to my lemon pasta recipe:http://cannella-vita.blogspot.com/2012/05/erica-lemon-herb-pasta.html

Rain in the Caribbean beats the cold in Chicago any day! That pasta looks terrific. I make pasta putanesca while sailing. A few more calories because of the olives, but soooo warming on a rainy day.

Plan to start my around the world sailin 2015 and your philosophy hits home for me. Look for my revamped blog in January at sailawaygirl.com to follow my prep and then my sail.

I look forward to keeping in touch with your sail and wisdom.
